Terms and Conditions

 

Cancellation Policy

 

1.     Deposit and Final Payment

A.     A non-refundable deposit must be received immediately to confirm your booking. Payment will indicate acceptance of these booking conditions.

B.     Full payment must be received at least 30 days prior to check-in.

C.     For bookings made inside 30 days prior to check-in, full payment is required at time of booking.

D.     If deposit or final payment is not received by the due date, Victor Apartments reserves the right to cancel the booking.

E.     Confirmation and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and you accept liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline to retain the reservation.

F.     Victor Apartments bears no responsibility for monies paid via a travel agency until cleared funds are received in the account of Victor Apartments.

2.     Bond

A.   A bond must be paid at the time that full payment is made.

B.   The bond will be refunded within 14 days of your stay in full subject to our terms and conditions being met.

C.   The bond is a security payment and may be used to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to any breakage, damage, excess cleaning, undeclared additional guests etc.

3.     Amendments terms and charges

A.     All booking amendments such as change of dates, number of guests and accommodation are subject to availability and rate at the time of amending your reservation.

B.     All booking amendments are subject to the discretion of the property management. Administration fees may be applied.

4.     Cancellation terms and Refund Policy

A.     Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival will be entitled to a full refund less a $55.00 administration fee.

B.     Any residual balance paid (after the applicable fees are deducted) may be held in credit towards future bookings with Victor Apartments. This credit can only be held for a maximum period of twelve months from the day the booking is cancelled. To redeem moneys held in credit, customers must call the reservations office prior to the expiry of the 12 months to rebook another stay. Moneys not redeemed at the expiry of the 12 months will be forfeited in their entirety to Victor Apartments.

C.     Bookings held over in Credit will be completely at the discretion of the property management. Administration fees may be applied.

D.     Cancellations made within 30 days prior to arrival are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

E.     No shows and cancellations after check in - will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

F.     If after arrival clients are dissatisfied with any aspect of their accommodation & decide to terminate their stay, the amount to be refunded, if any, is at the discretion of the property management.

5.     Method of notification of cancellation or amendments to booking

A.   All cancellations and amendments to the terms of a booking must be made in writing and sent by email or post to Victor Apartments using the contact details provided.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

 

The following terms and conditions apply to your booking and stay at Victor Apartments. Your payment indicates acceptance of these booking conditions. Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing. For further information please contact our main office or consult our compendium on arrival.

 

 

1.       Your Warranty:

A.     You warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and legally entitled to enter into a contract.

B.     All clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

C.     The property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID or proof of guardianship, if requested on check-in.

 

2.     Accommodation:

A.     The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked.

B.     In the unlikely event of a situation whereby Victor Apartments cannot provide accommodation as previously confirmed, the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings. This may include relocating clients into an alternative accommodation or providing refund of the payment made for the booking.

C.     The alternatives offered are at owner’s discretion.

D.     Whilst care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities and services of Victor Apartments is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion taken out of service. If any feature/facility is essential for the guest in choosing a particular property, it is advisable that the guest notifies a consultant of Victor Apartments at the time of booking. Victor Apartments cannot be held liable for omissions or errors, whether temporary or permanent, of a property's facilities and services.

E.     Whilst we attempt to satisfy all special requests, we are unable to provide a guarantee.

F.     Property room photos may not be specific to actual room allocated. Photos are indicative only. Accommodation facilities listed may not apply to all room types.

 

3.     Number of Guests:

A.     Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email with Victor Apartments.

B.     Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

 

4.     Special provisions relating to use of the Property and Disturbances:

A.     Victor Apartments accommodation is private property and the owners expect that the property will be left in the same or a similar state to its condition upon arrival.

B.     Parties and functions at the property are strictly prohibited.

C.     Any extra wear associated with parties and functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc may result in loss of your bond and/or claim of additional charges.

D.     Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in cancellation of booking and/or loss of bond.

E.     Smoking is not permitted.

F.     Fires at the property are strictly prohibited including candles and use of braziers.

G.     Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.

H.     Non-electric BBQs are never to be moved to or used upon wooden decks.

 

5.     Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss:

A.     Damage and/or breakages of the owner’s property are the guest’s responsibility and may result in the loss of bond and/or claim of additional charges.

B.     The owners take no responsibility for theft and/or loss of guest’s personal property during stay.

 

6.    Check-in and Check-out:

A.     Standard Check-in time is 2pm.

B.     Standard Check-out time is 10am.

C.     Check-in and Check-out times maybe varied by negotiation with the owners and at the owner’s discretion. Please contact our booking consultant to make these arrangements. Charges may apply.
